Shortly after moving to Colorado Springs, my wife and I decided to have a deck built for our new home. Jeremy and his crew built a great looking deck which we have enjoyed tremendously. This spring, we decided to finish our basement and received bids from three companies. J & J supplied two bids, one for a traditional J & J basement and one for their "Build Your Own Basement" option. After asking many questions, we chose the "build your own" option. From the start, the building process worked in our favor. After a walk through with Jeremy, we decided to move a door, widen a hallway and include a wet bar; all changes to his original design which were made prior to framing, but helped us create exactly the layout we wanted. The rest of the process went as smoothly.

Jeremy supplied us with a list of his preferred contractors and a time line for subcontractors work. One advantage of "Build Your Own Basement" was we could use subcontractors we already had a working relationship with, even if he was not on Jeremy's list. Also, if we didn't agree with the price or proposal of a potential subcontractor, we could use someone else. We found this useful for tailoring the project to our budget and our style. Through the entire process, Jeremy was only a phone call away, answering questions, addressing concerns about scheduling subs or just trying to figure out how to store all of the stuff that use to live in our unfinished basement.

The J & J "Build Your Own Basement" saved us enough money to pay for a wet bar and carpet and still come in under the proposed cost of three bids from traditional contractors. Our experience has been a good one, and if we ever found ourselves in the position where we had another basement to finish, we would use the J & J "Build Your Own Basement"option again.

J&J did an outstanding job in turning our basement into a beautiful living space. From the billard room with cherry bar and stack stone, the ceiling to floor stone fireplce, to the standout cherry entertainment center that stretches from wall to wall, Jeremy and crew did an outstanding job and at a very reasonable price. Everyone who sees the finished product is awestruck and requests Jeremy's number.

We are moving east due to my work and I had to put my home on the market this Fall after the normal home buying season. Not only did it sell in 5 days but I believe the reason it sold was the finished basement! To say I'm pleased with the finished product is simply not enough! What an outstanding job by J&J.

When my husband and I decided to finish our basement, we hadn't thought about it for years and struggled with plans. We knew it would add value to our home and enjoyment and more space for us, so we just needed to find a company to do the work. After getting a few estimates, it was clear to us that J&J Construction, Inc. was the most knowledgeable and would be the easiest to work with. They were very helpful in creating a great floorplan for us. They were unique in that they were flexible ... if we wanted to do the painting ourselves, or if we wanted to use our own tile setter, that was perfectly fine. We did end up using all of their contractors though, because it was obvious that they were very experienced and worked well together. We are extremely happy with our new "lower level" and would recommend J&J Construction, Inc. to anyone!
